The Texas Materials Institute is proud to announce that Prince Alvin Fofanah has been named one of eight undergraduate recipients of the prestigious 2025 Cockrell School of Engineering Student Leadership Award.
This distinguished honor celebrates individuals who exemplify exceptional leadership, service, and dedication to the Cockrell School community. Each year, the award is presented to students who have made a meaningful and lasting impact on their peers, student organizations, and the broader engineering environment at The University of Texas at Austin.
Fofanah, an undergraduate affiliated with the Texas Materials Institute, has been an active leader in Texas Materials Scientists and Engineers (TMSE) and other student organizations that current MS&E students are involved in. Through mentorship, outreach, and academic support initiatives, he has helped foster a strong, inclusive community within the field of materials science and engineering.
We’re proud to celebrate!
