Professor Arumugam Manthiram received the Faraday Medal Award from the Society for Advancement of Electrochemical Science and Technology (SAEST), India.
The award was presented by the Director-General of the Council of Scientific and Industrial Research in India. He delivered the Faraday Medal Award Lecture on “What is Ahead with Electrical Energy Storage?"He is the 6th recipient of this award, which is given at their biennial meetings when globally recognized, outstanding candidates are found in the Electrochemical Science and Technology area.
