Professor Manthiram has been selected as the recipient of the prestigious IBA Yeager Award for 2024.
This honor will be presented at the upcoming International Battery Materials Association (IBA) annual conference, scheduled to take place from September 8 to 13 in Halifax, Nova Scotia, Canada.
In recognition of his outstanding contributions and pioneering research in the field of battery R&D, particularly his work on developing high energy density cathode materials, Professor Manthiram was chosen following a competitive selection process. The award includes a plaque and a $2,000 prize. As part of the award, Professor Manthiram has been invited to deliver a 30-minute plenary lecture at the 2024 IBA meeting. The IBA board has extended their heartfelt congratulations to Professor Manthiram and looks forward to celebrating his achievements at the conference.
